Hsi-An is a set and graphic designer based in San Diego. She was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan and received fine art training in her teens. She received her B.A. in Drama and Theater at National Taiwan University, focusing on set design. She graduated from UC San Diego with MFA in Scenic Design in 2020 with a body of exciting works. The set design for The Misanthrope was recognized and selected for the World Stage Design Exhibition in 2022. Her recent set design credits include Hookman(ASNMSU Center for the Arts), Drowning Girls (OnStage Playhouse) and IYA: The Ex'celen Remember(U.C. San Diego Ethnic Studies).
